Position Summary

As a Building Services Technician, you will help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of BMOC's fraternity houses, apartment communities, and common areas. In addition to routine custodial duties, you will play a critical role during apartment turnover season by preparing units for new residents through detailed turn cleaning.

This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, enjoys staying active, and understands that a clean property creates an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of fraternity houses, apartment buildings, leasing offices, and common areas.
• Clean kitchens, dining rooms, lounges, restrooms, hallways, stairwells, laundry rooms, and shared resident spaces.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, dust, disinfect, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and replenish restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Perform apartment turn cleaning between resident move-outs and move-ins, including deep cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, cabinets, windows, floors, and fixtures to prepare units for new residents.
• Assist with seasonal deep cleaning projects and property refreshes.
• Identify and report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, supplies, and janitorial storage areas.
• Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products according to company procedures.
• Work efficiently to meet cleaning schedules and turnover deadlines during peak leasing season.
• Provide friendly, professional service while interacting with residents, clients, vendors, and team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 2-year ofcustodial, housekeeping, or janitorial experience required.
• Excellent attendance record with a history of being dependable and punctual.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
