They are seeking a detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Coordinator to support international transportation operations, freight execution, and logistics process improvement initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth freight execution, investigating transportation discrepancies, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
Job Description As a Freight Forwarding Coordinator, you will support international freight operations by coordinating transportation activities, monitoring shipment performance, and identifying root causes of process disruptions. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities - Create and manage international freight forwarder bookings within transportation management systems.
- Execute freight bookings using SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) or similar ERP platforms.
- Monitor daily transportation discrepancy and exception logs and ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Investigate freight execution failures and identify root causes of transportation management system discrepancies.
- Process transfer freight activities and document corrective actions.
- Analyze aging freight delays using proactive monitoring and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to transportation and supply chain processes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of transportation activities and issue resolution efforts.
Qualifications Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience working with ERP or transportation management systems.
- Exposure to international logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external business partners.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a changing business environment.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience using SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM).
- Previous experience coordinating international freight forwarding activities.
- Knowledge of transportation, logistics, and freight execution processes.
- Experience analyzing transportation metrics, reports, and operational performance data.
- Familiarity with supply chain process improvement methodologies.
