Job Title: Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer (Kafka & Private Cloud)

Location: Minneapolis, MN (3 days onsite / hybrid)

Experience: 10+ years overall IT; 3+ years Pega Infrastructure/Cloud

Job Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Pega Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Pega platform deployment and administration on Private Cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience externalizing Pega services such as Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, containerizing Pega applications, and deploying solutions on AWS-based private cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support Pega Platform infrastructure in Private Cloud environments Configure and manage Pega externalized services including Apache Kafka and Elasticsearch/OpenSearch Deploy and administer containerized Pega applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and Helm Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS Configure and manage highly available Kafka environments - topic management, partitioning, replication, security, and monitoring Manage OpenSearch/Elasticsearch clusters including indexing, retention, and search optimization Implement infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools Support production environments, incident management, performance tuning, and disaster recovery Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and architecture teams

Required Skills Pega Platform, Pega Private Cloud, Pega Containerization Apache Kafka, Amazon MSK, Kafka Connect, Schema Registry Elasticsearch / OpenSearch AWS - EKS, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Terraform, CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines Linux administration and shell scripting Cloud networking, security, IAM, certificates, and access controls

Preferred Skills AWS certifications Monitoring tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK/OpenSearch High availability, disaster recovery, and enterprise security experience Experience deploying Pega on Kubernetes-based platforms

Location & Work Model Minneapolis, MN - Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
