Senior Data Analyst / Clinical Informaticist

Location: 100% Remote

Employment Type: 12+ Month Contract-to-Hire.

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Data Analyst / Clinical Informaticist on behalf of our client in a 100% Remote capacity.

The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in healthcare data analysis, clinical informatics, interoperability, and EHR integration . This role requires hands-on expertise with FHIR, HL7 v2/v3, clinical data exchange, source-to-target mapping, and healthcare workflows , along with the ability to translate clinical and business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document technical, functional, and data integration requirements.

• Develop source-to-target mappings using HL7/FHIR messaging standards.

• Analyze data across multiple healthcare systems and clinical data sources.

• Create process flows, data dictionaries, mapping documents, and integration artifacts.

• Facilitate stakeholder discovery sessions, workshops, and requirements-gathering activities.

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Clinical Informatics teams, Architects, and QA teams.

• Assist QA teams with developing test scenarios and validating requirements.

• Analyze clinical workflows and interactions between healthcare systems.

• Support large-scale healthcare interoperability and EHR integration initiatives.

• Develop clear and concise technical and business documentation.

• Support change management and requirements scope processes.

Required Qualifications

• 7 10+ years of experience in Senior Data Analyst, Clinical Informatics, or related healthcare technology roles.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of FHIR and HL7 v2/v3 .

• Proven experience with source-to-target data mapping and clinical data exchanges.

• Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability, integration, and clinical workflows .

• Experience with healthcare data models and terminology standards.

• Ability to translate clinical and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience working on large-scale healthcare interoperability or integration projects.

• Strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and workshop facilitation skills.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, clinical, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems .

• Experience with platforms such as Veradigm eCC, Oracle Health, Epic, AthenaHealth, or Medent .

• Experience working with FHIR profiles and implementation guides .

• Strong knowledge of clinical data exchanges, data mapping, and healthcare terminology standards.

• Experience supporting complex enterprise healthcare environments.

• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating healthcare integration, mapping, FHIR, or interoperability deliverables.
