Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as a well-rounded DevOps/Platform Engineer supporting enterprise DevOps platforms and automation solutions.
- Administer, maintain, and upgrade DevTools such as Jenkins, GitHub Enterprise, Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, Bitbucket, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and DevOps best practices.
- Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational processes primarily using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Deploy and support AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Implement and manage secrets management, authentication, and security integrations (e.g., HashiCorp Vault).
- Monitor platform health, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvements.
- Utilize AI-powered engineering tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance automation, productivity, troubleshooting, and documentation.
- Collaborate on platform modernization initiatives and stay updated on DevOps, Cloud, Security, and AI engineering best practices.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies and integrate with enterprise systems.
- Engage in the migration of Jira and Confluence from Data Center to Cloud.
- Support includes platform lifecycle management, patching, and system integrations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, SonarQube, JFrog, HashiCorp Vault).
- Expertise in DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, Git workflows, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong programming and scripting abilities in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Experience with security best practices including SSO, identity management, and secrets management.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and platform integrations.
- Proven use of AI-assisted development tools for productivity.
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Preferred/Additional Skills:
- Experience with Jira Align, Rovo AI, and CloudFormation is a plus.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and HashiCorp Vault is useful but not critical.
